Hi guys, I thought I'd show you a few things that I have purchased recently. All of them are black and white so not incredibly summery but I think that put with the right items they will look great for Spring Summer.

I have brought two pairs of shoes over the past week or so. The first pair are from Topshop and they are so comfortable. I think that they're great for all year round and they have lots of different prints and patterns, I have a feeling I'll be getting more in the near future. The second pair have been slightly less comfortable. They're my first pair of docs. They're the pascal in off white and I got them from a discount/factory shop. They're still quite uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time but I think that they will look really nice with a variety of outfits. I'll be doing a 'How I Style Doc Martens' blogpost or possibly a video soon.

The final thing that I have brought is a kimono. I have wanted one for quite a long time but haven't been able to find one that's not too bright and floral. This one fits perfectly into my wardrobe and I love the contrasting sleeves. This kimono was from H&M.

Thanks for reading and I hope you're having a lovely weekend!

Hi guys, so I thought I'd do a Spring Favourites post today featuring a few of the things that I've been loving over the past couple of months.

So the first thing is Company Magazine. I love this magazine and have been getting it since December 2012. It's definitely my favourite magazine and I especially like it in the Summer months because I love festival fashion!

The next thing is some sunglasses. They were from Primark and were super cheap. I think that the shape suits my face perfectly and overall I just really like them.

Three things that I have been using for several months now is my; Tangle Teezer, Carmex Lipbalm and Nivea Handcream. I use them every single day and they're definitely my daily essentials.

The final, random, favourite for Spring is The Vamps new album Meet The Vamps. Such an upbeat Summer album and I've listened to the whole album through about 50+ times over the past couple of weeks while I've been working.

Hope that you enjoyed this favourites post, thanks for reading and they'll be a new post up tomorrow. Bye guys.

Hi guys, hope you all had a lovely weekend. The weather was brilliant all weekend and now that I have the pressure of coursework deadlines off my shoulders slightly I felt like I could really appreciate the nice weather. It was my Grandad's birthday party on Saturday and everyone sat in the garden and had a really nice time. On Sunday my sister told me she was bored so I decided to take her for a nice walk in the countryside. So, this post contains some of the pictures that we took. Check out my sister's blog HERE, she runs a lifestyle blog. Enjoy!

Hi guys, sorry about the lack of posts for the last week or so but I'm back with a short update type post.

I've always been a person that needs an end goal, and something that I aspire to do or be. And up until a year and a half ago that was teaching. I was so passionate about becoming a Primary School teacher. However, my love for fashion and all things computers/camera took over and this left me feeling totally lost. Yeah, I'm not even 18 and I don't need to worry about my future too much but over the past few weeks especially I have been feeling the pressure.

I've recently applied for an apprenticeship in social media & digital marketing so I'm crossing my fingers that I am offered an interview. I feel normal, and my worries about the future have disappeared once again.

I don't need to know what career I want for the rest of my life, I don't need to know what job I'll have next year. As long as you're happy and doing what you want to the don't worry about anything. A little quote that I am keeping with me from now on is this

Just remember to live life for the moment.

I've always loved Primark and their cheap and cheerful clothing. Me and my family decided to go for a little shop on Bank Holiday Monday and they treated me to a few things.

I decided I'd find a few staple Spring/Summer items and push the boat out a little by trying on a couple of maxi skirts. I don't mind my legs but I'm not a fan of getting them out all the time so I opted for this beautiful monochrome paisley/bandana print maxi skirt. It also has two splits at the front of each leg which, I think, makes it look a lot more expensive but also makes it nice and airy for when the hot weather strikes.
Maxi Skirt - £10
I also picked up two basic clothing items, I picked up the cami mainly to wear with the maxi skirt but I can also wear it under sheer blouses. I saw the quilted effect t-shirt and had to get it, I have one in burgandy and it's so versatile, not to mention so soft too!
T-shirt - £3
Cami - £3
I also decided to pick up a couple of accessories ready for the Summer, I picked up some club master style sunglasses, I really want a pair of Ray-Bans but I have NO money :( I need to get a job ASAP. I thought that the necklace was really nice and I think it will look nice with the maxi skirt and cami top. Finally, I picked up a pack of silver midi rings. Over the past couple of years I have really got into wearing rings. I thought I'd just get a cheap pack of midi rings to wear on the odd occasion and I really like how they look.

Sunglasses - £2
Rings - £1.50
Necklace - £3

A close up of the rings, decided to show off my sausage like fingers today ;)
Thanks for reading, I hope that this post gave you a few ideas of some staple items ready for the Summer. I will be posting the outfit that I wore shopping in a day or two so keep your eyes peeled! Bye guys.

Hi guys, so I've got a bit of an impromptu post today. Sorry about the lack of posts but as I said in a previous post I'm back at college so I'm kinda busy.
Anyway, I decided I want to reflect on the past couple of months and set myself a couple of goals for the coming months. Enjoy!

For the past few months I've been slacking with coursework and I got completely overwhelmed by the workload. But I've really got on top of it and feel like I'm working very well now, completing work and I feel really happy with the quality of work that I'm producing. I need to keep working hard so that in a couple of weeks I am coursework free and can focus on revising for my final two exams; Film Studies and English Language.

I have been quite unhealthy and not very active for the past few months because I felt incredibly guilty of doing anything other than coursework. I didn't want to go out anywhere with family because I just felt like I had so much to do. I've decided that May is time for me to become a little bit healthier and also become more confident with my body for the Summer and continue with a healthy lifestyle. I love walking and I always feel really good about myself after I've been for a stroll so I'm going to make sure I walk my dogs everyday and maybe started jogging too. I'm not doing this to lose weight or make a significant change because I'm happy with my body but I want to become fitter and just feel healthier and energised.

I didn't want this post to be too much writing so I thought I'd just show you guys a couple of pictures that I took when out walking with my sister.

Sometimes it's so easy to get caught up in everything that's going on that you forget to take a little bit of time out for yourself, I'm going to do that more too.

Thanks for reading I hope you enjoyed this post. New bank holiday outfit post coming soon!
