PATTERNED SLIP-ONS

Hi guys, I'm getting back into the swing of things with my blog now so here's another post.

I thought I'd write a little fashion post today. I featured a pair of black and white gingham slip-ons in a Topshop haul a couple of months ago and recently I picked up a similar pair from Zara. Being someone that wears pretty plain outfits everyday I really enjoy adding a bit of interest to my outfits with a pair of shoes.

I never thought I'd like these patterned shoes as much as I do, it's safe to say that they've hardly left my feet! Here are my two pairs, I'm sure more will be added to my collection in due course.

LONDON: CAMDEN

Hi guys, last Monday I went into London with one of my best friends as a bit of a last minute thing. I need to be more spontaneous!

I've decided to share a couple of the pictures that I took on my phone. I did take quite a lot more but these are my favourite three. I hope you like them.

I also wanted to mention that due to doing a bit of shopping on Oxford street, my first YouTube video will be a Summer clothing haul. The video will be going up on 1st August so look out for an announcement post or head over to my channel HERE and subscribe to be notified.

I hope to start going to London a lot more frequently so hopefully I'll have more London pictures to put up soon!

See you soon.

BACK TO BLOGGING

Hi guys, I know I've been slacking with blog posts recently. I've not really been massively busy, however I haven't really felt like I've had good enough things to post about. I've been lacking motivation but I sat down this afternoon and planned quite a few posts ready to post them within the next couple of days.

I've also got quite a few videos planned for my YouTube channel so look out for more info on that soon!

See you soon.

DON'T BE EMBARRASSED ABOUT SOMETHING YOU LOVE

I've been away from my blog for a while but I plan to start posting every day or two from now on.

Anyway, this post is totally inspired by a quote I saw on tumblr (shaykneee.tumblr.com) and I felt it was very fitting to something that happened in my life recently.

A lot of my year group knew one way or another that I have a blog. Only close friends knew what the name of my blog was and I'm not sure why but that was how I liked it to be.

The thought of people from my school potentially talking about it behind my back, good or bad terrified me. I had a total panic when one of my best friends retweeting one of my tweets, thus enabling a lot of my year group to see my active twitter account and therefor being able to find out my blog URL. What if people say horrible things about it? What if people think it's weird?

But then I thought about it, I've been doing this blogging thing since January 2013 and I really enjoy it. If anyone has a negative opinion of it then I don't really wish to be associated with that person.

Do what YOU love and do it often.
(NOTE TO SELF: must blog more!)

More posts coming really soon guys, bye.

PROM 2014

Hi guys, so it's been a little while since I last posted considering I had told you in my previous post that I have a lot more time on my hands now that I have finished school... I've had loads of ideas but to be honest I think I needed a break from my laptop after being on it permanently for about a month before my final deadlines. On Friday 4th I had my end of sixthform prom so I thought I'd show you what I wore to my prom. Enjoy!

Kimono - River Island
Playsuit - H&M
Watch - Casio
I did think I would try and steer clear of my usual black and white outfit but when I saw the Kimono I fell in love with it. The shoes that I wore were half price on the Topshop site and this is the first thing that I got for my outfit. The next thing that I found was the kimono, great, I've got shoes and a kimono for prom. I searched in a couple of shops to find a black dress to wear under the kimono but couldn't find anything, plus the sizes were so strange, they were baggy and tight at the same time.

My mum and sister popped into H&M where they found this black playsuit with a huge open back, I adore this as well. It will be great for other occasions rather than just prom which is what I kept in my head when picking everything.

Bag and Necklace - Newlook

The kimono has lots of neon yellow beading around the edge so I decided to add a pop of colour by getting this super bright bag and necklace. I ordered these online because I couldn't find anything in store that I liked.

Shoes - Topshop
I'm glad I didn't decide to wear a dress to prom because it's not really my style at all. I know I would have felt uncomfortable all night and as I said before I can't wait to post some more outfit posts on here incorporating a few of the items featured in a more casual outfit.

A quick side note: If anyone from my school reads this, thanks for an awesome 7 years and good luck for the future.

I hope you like this post guys and I'll see you very soon, bye.
