Hi everyone. I hope you all had an amazing Christmas Day. It's been so nice to relax for a few days but now I'm cracking on again with college work and various other things that I wish to complete. On the 23rd, Lori and I headed to a town near us called Stamford. It was so lovely to wander around and there were loads of cute little independent home shops around, I'll certainly be back to have a look in all of them in the new year. We found this cute bridge over the river and (as usual) Lori took some awesome outfit photos for me.

Hi everyone. I thought I'd take a whole load of photos in Lush when I visited London a couple of weeks ago. I've been in the Oxford Street store before but didn't take photos inside so I took full advantage and took LOADS.

The store features hundreds of exclusive products and all of the favourites spread over three floors. The interiors are amazing. Industrial, clean, wooden and extremely Instagrammable. The staff in this store are lovely, all are more than happy to help with enquiries and also love to give demonstrations with the products such as the massage bars and shower jellies.

Anyway, I'll let the photos do the talking for this post. Enjoy.

I've set myself the task to become more Christmassy I thought I'd write a Christmas post, and as if by magic, I see a new tag grace my twitter timeline. Make sure you check out the original questions by Becky of HERE.

What better way to share my London Christmas photos too?! Enjoy.

Hi, today I have a new kind of post that I hope to feature regularly here on the blog. In case you didn't know, Graphic Design and Art is a great passion of mine and I really want to share that more on my blog. A recent trip to London made me feel really inspired and I decided at that point that I'd like to share independent design shops with you. I want to start it with a bang so here it is, my favourite shop in London at the moment. I first stumbled upon this shop accidentally with my Mum months ago, I wanted to buy everything at that point if I'm honest.

I know, I know, bonfire night was over a month ago! I'm not sure why it's taken me so long to post these 3 photos but I still wanted to share them. Enjoy!

Hi guys, it's been a while since I posted once again. But I'm back with (hopefully) more consistent content and lots of exciting new ideas and concepts. Today I just wanted to address a few changes to the blog and what you can expect to see soon. EDIT: I've just seen that I posted something similar to this last year, that's why it's called part 2. All of the positive changes are happening rn.

So firstly, I've brought a domain! I feel like my new simple domain looks so much nicer, it's easier to type and it looks more professional. Along with this I took advantage of a black friday discount that Pipdig had and purchased a pre made blog template. Although I really wanted to make one myself I just don't really have the time with college and work and it was taking way more brain capacity than it was worth. And I've said before how being unsatisfied with the layout of my blog makes me so much less motivated to post so I'm thinking that this will really help me out.

Along with a template change, I've decided that instead of a digital header, I'm going to create a watercolour header for myself. I think this'll be a really nice way to start brining more art and design to my blog which is an idea that I'm really hoping to push myself to do even more so in the new year.

The previous point links to the final thing that I want to talk about, my future in terms of my job and/or career when I leave college. I doesn't even bare thinking about, how little time I have left at college, this is something I don't think I'll be prepared for in terms of getting out of the routine of seeing loads of my closest friends all the time but I feel more prepared in another sense. I have an idea of what I hope to do when I finish. This will be a mixture between designing my own typographic/art prints and products to sell and hopefully a whole variation of freelance jobs. From photography to typography, videography to sewing, writing to art, I really do know how to do a lot of creative things (I mean this in the least big headed way). I recently sat down and realised that actually, with some of the skills that I possess I'll be more than fine at the end of this academic year. What's going to work best for me, is working FOR ME. Let's see how this goes.

Oh, one last thing. My friend and I filmed an Autumn/Winter 2015 lookbook, I've no idea when it'll be posted but hopefully it will be in the next couple of weeks.

I really hope you're going to enjoy everything that's coming, this blog is still a huge work in progress but I'm so glad to finally have a domain that I like, and a really simple but gorgeous blog design. Please just grin and bear the current header, I couldn't just leave it blank haha. I'll be back tomorrow with a little haul from Zara so I'll see you then.

Hi everyone. I'm currently sat on the sofa in my pyjamas snuggled up with my dogs on a very gloomy, dark and rainy afternoon. In an attempt to lighten my mood and to help me get off my butt to do all the things on my to-do list I thought I'd share these photos.

So a couple of Sunday's ago me and my family decided to go for a little trip to the seaside with all the dogs too. This is the first time the boys (dogs) have been to the seaside so we took them to play in the water and on the sand. I took my new camera to play around with it and I'm really happy with some of the images. I hope you like them too.

Hi guys, it's been about two weeks since I last wrote so I thought I'd get back into blogging with a little catch-up type post. To tell you what I've been doing for the past two weeks.

Firstly, I turned 19! I can't believe I'm in the last year of my teenage years and it's so crazy how quickly being 18 went. I still haven't started my driving lessons yet but hopefully I'll be getting that sorted soon and will be learning to drive within the next couple of months.

Last Tuesday I went to college for the first time since we broke up for the Summer to enrol in my second year of my Graphic Design course. I'm so excited to go back and actually missed college while being on my Summer break. I feel like I'm in such a great place mentally and hopefully this will reflect on the grades I achieve this year. Hopefully I'll stay this motivated so that I can post blogposts and YouTube videos as regularly as possible.

This next point ties in with the previous. Just over a year ago I had a meltdown about my bedroom and just felt that  had too much in it. So I got rid of my desk, this was partly due to the fat that I thought I'd not be going back into education and also because I can never be productive working in my room. So, after checking that it was ok with my Mum, my Dad and I headed to IKEA and I brought myself a cheap desk and chair, which in total cost me about £45 which isn't bad for two nice looking pieces of furniture. Instead of putting the desk in my bedroom, my parents have allowed me a space in our second lounge which means I have a wall to stick pictures up and also somewhere detached from my bedroom to complete college work and also blog productively.

Last but not least, I have started walking/running. I'm really quite unfit and after my dad started cycling again I decided that I wanted to go on foot. So using the nike running app I pulled on my trainers and alternated between walking and running. I hope that doing this every couple of days will improve my fitness and make me feel better about my body. I hope to tone up a bit and not get warn out after running for 90 seconds.

So that's about it for my little update. I'm really excited to see how all of these things pan out over the next several months and I'll be sure to keep you updated.

Hours of planning, 2 half days of filming and hours of editing and this is the result. My first YouTube video. If you didn't know, I've just started a YouTube channel (Read more HERE). Thank you so so much to Lori for filming :)

The video (click the thumbnail to play) isn't as good as I hope for my videos to be but you've got to start somewhere! It's also been uploaded a lot later than I was hoping to post it but at least it's up! This was filmed on my iPhone 5s so the quality isn't the greatest but I've just got a new camera so the quality should be better for all future videos.

I hope that you enjoy, please subscribe if you like it and There'll be more videos up soon. I also uploaded a couple of videos onto my vlog channel whilst in Ireland so you can find them HERE.

After starting my first blog 3 years ago and watching YouTube for nearly 5 I've always wanted to make my own videos. I studied Film at A levels and started uploading last summer and the summer before that. But my time management was (and still is) somewhat lacking. But, I've been working on it and feel that I'm organised enough to try again. I have so many ideas so I just need to put my preparation into action.

What kind of videos?
I'm hoping to upload videos about anything that I'm passionate about, be it fashion, beauty, advice and more. My channel will have lots of variation. I also have a blog channel where I'll upload some day in the life type vlogs and bloopers.

Hopefully I'll upload one video a week on my main channel and whenever I do something exciting on my second channel. I've just been given an early birthday present in the form of a care so it should hopefully be kind of regular.

I'm so so so excited to try this whole YouTube thing again and I hope that people will enjoy my videos. Look out for my new video tonight!

Over the past year or so I've really been getting into make up. I only ever shop in Boots and Superdrug for make up but I've been in Northern Ireland for the last few days and I had some holiday money to spend. So we popped to Londonderry to Debenhams and we looked in MAC and around all the other counters.

I picked up a Satin Lipstick in Twig and an eyeshadow in the shade Patina from MAC and also picked up Benefit Brow Zings in Dark. That Urban Decay Smoky palette is definitely high up on my wish list because it's beautiful.

You might also be able to see the change in photo quality. My parents very kindly brought me my birthday present a week early, being the Samsung NX3000. I'll probably write a post about it in the future so look out for that.

Hi guys, today I've got a home DIY post for you. A quote wall is something that I've always dreamed of having as a love quotes and I think it makes a great feature in an all white room. If you follow me on Tumblr (HERE) it's pretty clear.

I reorganised my room a while ago and felt that I needed to add something to a blank wall and this is the result. I hope you like it! Obviously before doing any kind of DIY make sure that you have permission.

Things you'll need are: Hammer, small nails, photo frames, string, mini pegs and lots of printed quotes. I am using a quote book and cutting the quotes out. And blue tack if you don't have enough frames, you could even use no frames and just blue tack if you're in halls at university or a rented place.

Firstly I cut all of the quotes out and then picked my favourites to go in the frames. As I feel that this project is ongoing I decided to just pick up a few plain and simple cheap frames and will eventually buy random patterned frames as and when I see them. I put my favourites in frames and then began decided where to put them.

I decided to also put a calendar on the wall, I really like the photos used in the calendar so measured the centre of the wall and put that up first. It was then just a case of trial and error placing things around it until I liked how it looked. I dotted the frames randomly and blu tacked the others.

I decided to create a 'washing line' effect with coloured string and mini pegs tying the pegs in place so they didn't move then nailing the string to the wall. I took a few of the smaller quotes and pegged these up. I made one for the top of the wall and one for the bottom.

This isn't the best photo but I'm sure I'll probably post it on Instagram soon so loo out for that. I really like how it looks and like I said, it's a work in progress so I'm planning on adding some patterned frames and also incorporating some of my original pieces of work on the wall too. Nothing like sticking your own work up on your wall, I'm my own cheerleader ok.

Thanks so much for reading and hopefully my blog absence is now over!

Hi guys, here's a quick little outfit that I wore a few weeks ago. It's perfect for Summer and also features one of my cocker spaniels Dottie. Enjoy!

Dress - Topshop (sale)
Sandals - Next

On this same day me and my friend managed to film two outfits for a lookbook that should be coming soon. I love getting movement in the video and thought I'd involve my dog in a few blog photos every now and again. I love how these photos turned out and Dottie was very obedient for once haha

Oh hi, long time no see. Apologies for that but sometimes I feel a bit uninspired and don't really have anything to say so I've let that feeling pass and I'm back with a haul of things I picked up in the ASOS sale and also the Next sale this morning. Enjoy!

Homeware is my weakness. I'd been eyeing up the mug and colander in Next for months, my Mum kindly brought me the colander which was £1.50! and I picked up the pretty mug for £1. It sucks that I won't be moving out for probably at least another three years:( I saw this necklace in the jewellery section and fell in love, it was £7 and is perfect to pair with some of the basic tops that I own.
Another Next homeware purchase. A beautiful grey, white and copper cushion. It was £6 and I've decided I'll be putting it on the comfy chair in my room.
I picked up a couple of basic tops, the grey is a casual T-shirt, then a long sleeved white top and a white vest top. The cream and black stripe blouse fits so nicely and makes a great addition to my wardrobe as I'm trying to wear some slightly smarter pieces every so often.
And last but not least, ASOS. The only thing I wanted to buy was this lovely peach and black purse from Monki but I saw the teal fedora in the accessories section and it was £8 down from £25 from Warehouse. I love it so much, just a little heads up that I'm in the process of filming and editing my first lookbook and the hat makes a feature! I then picked up this simple crop top which looks lovely with acid wash jeans.

So that's everything. I am supposedly saving for a camera, clearly it's not going too well! I hope you liked this post and as I said, a lookbook is in the making which I'm so excited about. See you soon.

I love styling my hair but have only posted a hair style once before on my blog so I thought I'd share another one today.

This was a really impromptu post, while I was out shooting an outfit post with a friend I quickly styled my hair and that proves how easy this style is. I took one half of my hair, the opposite side to my fringe. Brushed it through with my fingers and then french plaited starting at the top. Then I just put a bobble in at the end and tucked the plait around the side.

I like this style because it means your hair isn't hanging on your neck making you hot. Simple, easy and it means you only have to straighten/curl/wave half of your hair!

Hi guys, today I wanted to share a few pairs of shoes that I've purchased over the past few weeks. Now, I can't really remember the last time I brought shoes and before now the only shoes I owned for everyday wear were trainers. So I went ahead and picked up a couple of pairs of different shoes.

The first pair are indeed trainers. I own a couple of pairs of converse, a couple of pairs of vans (all quite old) and then cheap Topshop/Zara slip ons. Non of these trainers properly support my feet and ankles and I've wanted a pair of Nike's for a while. I opted for the black Nike Free 5.0. They are possibly the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn and they really dress down an outfit. I'm all for the sportswear trend and know I'll enjoy merging these trainers into my wardrobe.

I was shopping in Next with my Mum last week and it struck me that I haven't owned a pair of sandals/flip flops for years. I saw these beautiful brown leather sandals, tried them on and totally fell in love with them. They're perfect to wear casually or slightly dressier for garden parties etc and they were a total bargain at just £20.

After my Mum failed to find a pair of shoes that she liked we decided to look in TKMaxx today. She ended up coming out with a pair of Steve Madden sandals, Birkenstocks and three other pairs for around £100! I first saw these shoes in her size but if I'm honest I fell in love with them and was over the moon when I found a pair in my size. I love that they can be quite dressy and I love the aztec print and colours of them. Perfect to wear with jeans, shorts or a dress.

I hope you liked this post, I'm sure you'll be seeing these pieces in outfit posts soon. So stay tuned if you'd like to see them. Thanks so much for reading and I'll see you soon!

Hi guys, today I thought I'd share some photos that I took last week on Father's Day. My parents, two sisters and I decided to go to a place called Foxton Locks to spend Father's Day afternoon. I hope you like the photos.

Although I love travelling slightly further afield to new places, it's also kind of refreshing to know that in the area that I live there are still beautiful pieces of history. We had such a lovely afternoon, so many people were out with their families and friends.

Expect more posts really soon, I have so many almost ready to go so look out!

I cannot believe I've finished the first year of my Graphic Design course at college. Just to recap, I finished school at 16, endured two of the worst years of my life at sixth form and then decided to stay in education, instead of going to University to pursue something that no longer fuelled my fire. Finishing college for the Summer is good news on the blog and YouTube channel front because it means I've got more free time to write, film and edit. If I'm honest it's been a weird final few weeks at college. Everyone else was really excited for the Summer, as was I, however I'm also kind of worried. Mainly because I loved my weekly routine, I love my course, the people on the course and everything else about college. It's the only place that has made me realise that it's totally fine to not know what your next step is going to be and this has been a huge comfort to my over active brain which used to run career ideas every second of the day.

This year I've learnt so much about Graphic Design and also myself. I've had the time to come up with ideas for potential careers when I finish college in a year, work for my Mum's business (which I will now be doing almost full time until college starts again in September) and also it's given me plenty of time to write on my blog too. In previous years that I spent in education I've been really excited for the Summer because I hated where I was, so it's a very weird feeling when you don't actually want to finish for the Summer because you know you'll miss the place. It's been stressful with 9 unit deadlines in one year but I've enjoyed every second of it.

I've voiced my fear to my best friend on the course. I'm worried that I'll just spend the whole time inside, in the safe proximity of my home. I struggle to push myself to do more things with my friends and I've always been like this. I see my house as a safe zone and I'm very much an introvert. I know that even if I don't really want to go somewhere, I will enjoy it in the end. I've decided to create a list of things I hope to do this Summer in hopes that, after writing it down for others to read I'll feel slightly 'forced' to do everything so I can tick them all off at the end of the Summer.

I hope if you're in education that you've had/are having a nice final few weeks and I'll see you soon with lots more content from now on. Bye guys.

Hi guys, after recently finding a new favourite pair of jeans I've decided to write a comparison against my trusty Topshop Leigh Jeans. Enjoy.

Firstly, the light blue pair are my Topshop Leigh jeans for £40 and the dark blue pair are from Pull&Bear for £19.99. Comparing the overall fit of the jean; Topshop are tight and very 'sucky inny' while the P&B pair are a slightly more casual skinny fit. Also, the distressing is neater on the P&B pair which I tend to lean towards more. The P&B pair have a raw edge at the bottom that I wear down sometimes but I do also like to roll them up as I did in the photos.

I really like both pairs and I definitely couldn't live without wither of them however, if I had to only keep one pair it would be the P&B pair 100%. Being slightly looser fitting they'll be fine to wear in the Great British Summer. They're half the price of the Topshop Jeans. The only negative with these jeans is that they only have back pockets, so are more like jeggings in that sense. This can be slightly annoying for an avid mobile phone user like myself but other than that I think they're great.

So definitely, if you're on a budget, the Pull&Bear pair are just as great, if not better than the Topshop pair being that the material is less stretchy and a bit more structured than the Topshop pair.

I hope that you enjoyed this post. I'm thinking of turning this idea of comparing similar items from different shops so look out for more in the future.

Thanks for reading, see you soon.
